Do I need to live in Coto de Caza?
Absolutely not. Most of our members do not live in Coto de Caza. We have found that if you live fairly close by it's definitely more convenient to get to the meetings and to other functions and networking activities we hold.

Should my business serve the Coto de Caza area?
It makes the most sense if your business serves the business and consumer population in South Orange County. Most of your "tips" will come from this area. Additionally, the people you refer will likely want to frequent businesses convenient to them. Most or our membership have offices within 10-20 miles.

Will I get tips right away?
Maybe. Often new members get immediate tips. For others, it takes some time. It will often depend on your particular category and how often people change the provider of that service. It also takes some time for fellow members to get to know you and how best to "tip" you.

How much does it cost:
Fees are a combination of LeTip International fees and our Chapter dues and expenses. See the How to Join page for a breakdown. Most members find that the new business the chapter brings them easily pays for any fees and charges. Additionally, having fees in place adds to the commitment level of the members.

Is the Chapter "cliquey"?
Definitely not! Because of the way LeTip is structured it doesn't attract people interested in becoming part of a clique. We need to get to know you and you need to get to know each and every member in order to get the most out of the time and effort invested with our LeTip chapter.
